NCSIDBL has funded projects amounting to Nu 877,721,932.24 in the first year of its establishment (i.e. from February- December 2020) boosting rural economy, promoting entrepreneurs and narrowing the gap of unemployment. From January to April 2021, Nu 306,860,610.05 has been disbursed for various projects.

Below are some of the projects funded by NCSIDBL

Agriculture

Two siblings, Amrit Sapkota and Yashoda Sapkota from Sarpang have availed loan for Winter Vegetables at Tsirang.

Mr. Tshering Penjor from Trashigang is successfully running Oyster Mushroom business in Tsimasham under Chhukha dzongkhag.

Livestock

Mr. Tenzin Wangda from Trashigang availed loan under CSI and successfully established Samzang Gongphel Poultry Farm with 1000 birds.

Manufacturing & Production

Mr. Tashi comes from Trashiyangtse. He has availed loan to manufacture Pickle at simtokha, Thimphu.

Mr. Deepak chhetri from Samste have availed loan for the purpose of Vermicomposting. His project location is at changedaphu, Thimphu.

Mr. Jigme Tenzin hailing form Khaling under Trashigang Dzongkhag had started his furniture unit (Jigme Tenzin Furniture Unit) under Cottage Industry.

Mr. Karma Chime have availed loan for Production of Coffee, located in the heart of Paro Town.

Mr Tandin Tshewang from Thimphu has availed loan for the Production of Face Mask in light of the corona virus pandemic.

Nazhoen Food Processing Unit by Kelzang Dorji & Pelden Wangchuk at Babena, Thimthrom, Thimphu. They Manufactures Local Food Products like potato chips, peanut, Bhutanese tsho, sweet khabzey, readymade ezay and fried tengma (maize).

Services

Mr. Sonam Tandin Phurba has been provided loan for Laundry Service in Norbuling Rigter College and Paro College.
